Joseph Hershel Clark was born on February 25, 1898 in Arkansas. He was married on May 1, 1920. Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Marie Long of New Plymouth and a son, Walter H. Clark, now stationed with the United Stated Navy at San Diego, California.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday morning by the Rev. C. U. Carlson of the Congregational church in New Plymouth and interment was at the Applegate cemetery. The American Legion service was given at the graveside. The Landon Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
