Jerome Howard Cole was born in Cass county, Iowa, March 19, 1858, and died at New Plymouth, Idaho, Nov. 10, 1927.
He crossed the plains with his parents in 1862.
On July 18, 1887, he was married to Henrietta Carpenter at Lewiston, Idaho. Four children were born to this union, Herbert and Albert of New Plymouth, Mrs. Annie Well of Burns, Oregon and Mrs. Mary Weil of Little Rock, Washington. Twenty-two grandchildren were also born to them, 19 of whom are now living.
After numerous wanderings the family settled in New Plymouth, Idaho.
He became a member of the Baptist church in 1888 and reunited with the First Baptist church of New Plymouth, 17 years ago.
