Lars Hansen

After an illness extending over many weeks, Lars Hansen died here on the 14th of February of heart trouble and dropsy. About a month ago he was brought here from his homestead near Sweet for medical care, and although everything was done to restore him to health he failed rapidly and passed away Monday evening at ?:15. Mr. Hansen's sickness and death was particularly sad in view of the fact that he had no relatives in this country, and being almost a stranger, very few friends, but those few saw to it that he wanted for nothing. The deceased was 44 years of age and leaves relatives in Fyen, Denmark. The remains were laid to rest in the Kennedy cemetery.
