Mrs. Emma J. Newman died from a sudden attack of heart failure on Saturday morning at her home near Hanna, while reading a paper. She was well known in this section having lived here for about thirty years. She was 51 years of age.
She leaves to mourn her loss her husband, John Newman, two daughters, Mrs. Ethel Cooper and Miss Hazel, and one son, Jasper. Her mother living near New Plymouth and a brother living in Emmett.
Funeral services were held on Monday at 10 a.m. at her late residence. Rev.Ford M. Burtch of New Plymouth officiated assisted by Pastor A. C. Lathrop of Emmett. There was a large attendance of relatives and friends and many beautiful floral offerings. Interment was made at the New Plymouth cemetery.
