Saturday Services Held For J. Newman
Services for John Newman, 85, who died last Thursday were held at 2:30 Saturday at Beatty chapel with the Rev. James Havens officiating. Interment was in Kennedy cemetery at New Plymouth.
Mr. Newman was born in Fayetteville, Ark., Dec. 30, 1865, and moved when 10 years of age. The family settled in Middleton. He moved to Emmett in 1885 and had lived here since.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ethel Cooper of Emmett and Mrs. William Weiss of Boise; a son Jasper Newman of Emmett, and two brothers.
