J. O. Rutherford Services Held
Jonathan Oscar Rutherford, 75, of New Plymouth passed away Sunday at a Payette hospital. He was born at Fayetteville, Ark. on Dec. 2, 1880. He came to this area in Sept. 1921 from Ironside. He was married to Docia Lawrence on Mar. 25, 1906, at Vale, Ore. He was a farmer.
Survivors include his wife Docia Lawrence Rutherford of New Plymouth; four sons, John A. Rutherford of Cambridge, Raymond R. Rutherford of Baron, Calif., William J. Rutherford and Oscar P. Rutherford both of New Plymouth; one daughter, Nancie Lesh of Renton, Wash., eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services were conducted on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Shaffer memory Chapel with the Rev. Bert Iddins officiating with interment at Kennedy Applegate Cemetery in New Plymouth.
