SUDDEN DEATH

Edwin L. Niles, who came here from Los Vegas, New Mexico, about three months ago, a sufferer from Tuberculosis, passed away suddenly about 4 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. He had stepped outside of the house when he suddenly called for a drink of water, and as it was being taken to him he lurched-forward, suffering from a heavy hemorrhage, and before a physician could reach him he had expired.

Deceased was 41 years of age on January 24, having been born in Topeka, Kan. He was married to Margarot Ingram, of Payette on October 22, 1923, and his widow survives him.

His remains were taken to Eugene, Oregon, this afternoon, where funeral services will be held and interment will take place.

EDWARD L. NILES DIES SUDDENLY

Edward L. Niles,41 years of age, died suddenly Tuesday afternoon at his home on South 7th street. While he was afflicted with tuberculosis and in a critical condition, his death was sudden and unexpected. An attack of hemorage of the lungs was the immediate cause of his death.

He came to Payette with his wife only a short time ago from Vegas, Nevada, where he has been in hopes of obtaining relief.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a mother and one sister living at Portland, one sister at Eugene, Oregon, one sister, a teacher in the Boise high school, and a brother at Redding, California. The body will be shipped this evening to Eugene, Oregon, for burial.
