Mrs. Elizabeth Cox Purcell, 82, died March 12, at her home. Mrs. Purcell was well known in Payette having lived here for the last 43 years. She was born June 11, 1852 at Mediapolis, Iowa.
Funeral services were held from the Church of God Sunday with Rev. Bradley officiating.
Mrs. Purcell is survived by four son, J. H. Purcell of Payette, F. H. Purcell of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin; B. P. Purcell of Caldwell; and Everett Purcell of Weiser; two daughters, Mrs. J. J. McCarten of Red Lodge, Montana; and the other daughter whose name is unknown, and five grand children.
