KILLED NEAR PAYETTE
W. E. Reddington Loses His Life While at Work in a Well

PAYETTE, Feb. 19, A fatal accident by which W. E. Reddington, of this place, lost his life today occured at the farm of M. B. Sherman, six miles from here. While Reddington was at the bottom of a well 50 feet deep the hoisting rope broke and precipitated half a barrel of dirt and rocks on his head, crushing his skull and killing him almost instantly.
