Harry Boggs Passes at 91, Rites Thursday
Services for Harry Boggs, 91, New Plymouth, who died Sunday in a Boise hospital following a brief illness, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Shaffer Chapel, New Plymouth, with the Rev. Floyd Tillson officiating. Interment will follow at Park View cemetery, New Plymouth.
He was born Feb. 11, 1874, at Olathe, Kan. and he married Isabelle Parker April 16, 1899 at Hutchinson, Kan. They moved from Kansas City, Mo. to New Plymouth in 1942. Mrs. Boggs preceded him in death on July 10, 1956 at New Plymouth.
Surviving him are five sons; Harold M., Edgerton, Kan., Roy K., New Plymouth, Arthur P, Wichita, Kan., Harry A., Escondido, Calif., and Robert H., Novato, Calif.; five daughters, Mrs. Opal Bechtold, Portland, Mrs. Oma Halworth, Boise, Mrs. Clariebel Johnson, New Plymouth, Mrs. Alice Chandler, Kansas City, Mo, and Mrs. Marguerite White, Bend, Ore.; a sister, Mrs. Edith Bach, San Diego, Calif.; 33 grandchildren and 49 great grandchildren.
