Mrs. Mabel Bright Succumbs at Age 83
Mrs. Mabel E. Bright, 83, of New Plymouth, died at Holy Rosary Hospital last Saturday following an extended illness. She was born Dec. 21, 1879, at Long Island, Kan., and married James E. Bright at Norton, Kan., Nov. 4, 1896.
They moved to New Plymouth in 1943. She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
She is survived by her husband of New Plymouth; five sons, Paul of Emmett, John of Fruitland, and Mark, Frank and Ben Bright, all of New Plymouth; one daughter, Mrs. Erma Edmison of Cambridge; a sister, Mrs. Nora B. Hoffman of Constantine, Mich.; 23 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held Wednesday at Shaffer Memory Chapel with Rev. Roy Mershon officiating. Interment followed at Park View in New Plymouth.
