James Creasey Succumbs; Came to NP in 1896

NEW PLYMOUTH - James Foster Creasey, 93, New Plymouth, died in a Payette nursing home early Friday following a long illness.

Services were conducted Saturday at the New Plymouth Shaffer chapel with the Rev. Richard England, pastor of the New Plymouth congregational church, officiating. Interment followed at Park View cemetery in New Plymouth.

Mr. Creasey was born March 12, 1874, at Lone Rock, Wis., and he came to New Plymouth in 1896. He has lived here since that time.

He was married to Anna Marie Meyer Jan. 8, 1906, at Caldwell. She preceded him in death on August 24, 1957.

He was a member of the congregational church.

He is survived by a son, Gerald, Salt Lake City; a daughter, Mrs. Emma Welfield, Boise; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
