Final Rites Held For Mrs. Mattie B. Dotson
Services were held today for Mrs. Mattie B. Dotson, 85, a long-time resident of New Plymouth who died Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E. J. Crook, of Whittier, California.
Mrs. Dotson was born in Brown county, Kansas, June 4, 1874, and came to the New Plymouth community in 1903 from Kansas. Her husband, Edgar Dotson died in 1948. Mrs. Dotson was a member of the Congregational church.
Survivors include her daughter at Whittier, California, another daughter, Mrs. W. W. Weston, Jr. of Boise; two brothers, W. C. Beamguard of Payette and Frank Beamguard of Ventura, Calif. and three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services were held at 2 p. m. with arrangements by Shaffer chapel in New Plymouth and the Rev. J. Edwin Elder officiating. Interment was at Park View.
