John Fisher Dies In Emmett Home Fri. 16

Services for John J. Fisher, 78, of route 2, Parma, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the New Plymouth Shaffer chapel, Percy Harltand officiated and interment was held at Park View.

Mr. Fisher, who died in an Emmett nursing home Friday after a long illness, was born in Decatur county, Kansas on April 9, 1881. He came to New Plymouth in 1915 from Snohomish, Wash. In 1929 he moved to Apple Valley. He married Ethel Summey at Apple Valley in May, 1945. She died in 1949. Mr. Fisher came to Emmett 18 months ago.

He was a member of the non-denominational Christian church of Apple Valley.

Survivors include three brothers, Jake of New Plymouth, Fred of Parma, and Henry of Kirkwood, Mo., one half-brother, Sam Dubecko? of New Plymouth and a half sister, Mrs. Pauline Martens of Seattle, Wash.
