FRUITLAND - Services for Noyce E. (Bill) Hansen, 42, Fruitland, who died Tuesday of injuries received in an automobile-train accident near Weiser, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Fruitland Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located on Iowa Avenue in Payette, by Bishop Chad Clark. Interment with graveside rites by Ontario Elks Lodge No 1690 will follow at Park View Cemetery, New Plymouth.

He was born Feb. 24, 1932, in Miles City, Mont. He later moved to Billings, Mont., where he was active in the Scouting program. He moved to Nampa in 1946 and late moved to Fruitland where he graduated from high school in 1950. He had been active in athletics of Fruitland High School. He married Viola McLain Sept. 2, 1950, in Fruitland. He worked in law enforcement for several years, serving as deputy sheriff in Payette County and as chief of police in Fruitland. For the past several years he had been employed by the Dairymen's Creamery Association and was a field man for the firm at the time of his death.

He was a member of the LDS Church, a charter member of the Fruitland Lions Club, and a member of Elks Lodge No 1690 of Ontario where he was Loyal Knight. He had also been a member of the Eagles Lodge in Nyssa and was a past member of the Police Officers Association.

Surviving are his wife of Fruitland; a daughter, Jeanne, Boise; two sons, Dick and Willie, both of Fruitland; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Hansen, Fruitland; a brother, Vernon of Fruitland, and several nieces and nephews. A brother and a sister died earlier.

Friends may call at the Fruitland Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel from 5 pm. until 9 p.m. today and until 9 p.m. Friday.

Memorials may be made to the Elks Lodge Memorial fund, a favorite charity or flowers may be sent.
