William R. Hayes Services Held
William Rosco Hayes, 74, passed away Thursday night at his home in New Plymouth, Route 1.
Mr. Hayes was born June 3, 1882, in Jefferson county, Kansas, and had been a resident of New Plymouth for 14 ½ years, coming from South St. Paul, Minn. He was married to Florence Taylor at Harrah, Okla., Dec. 19, 1904.
Survivors, in addition to his wife of New Plymouth, include his step-mother, Mrs. Sarah Hayes, St. Paul; one son, Richard Hayes of New Plymouth; two daughters, Mrs. Vera Roser, Boise and Mrs. Delia J. Rogers, Excelsior, Minn.; three brothers, Lloyd and George of Eugene, Ore., and Harry Hayes, Los Gatos, Calif.; six sisters, Mrs. Mae Thompson, Eugene, Mrs. Delia Greenwald, Minneapolis, Minn., Mrs. Dora Wakefield, Riceville, Iowa, Mrs. Birdie Pregler, Mrs. Blanche Hanner, and Mrs. Rachael Horsch, all of St. Paul, Minn.; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services were held Saturday, 2 p.m. at the Beechler chapel in Ontario with the Rev. Leonard Fuqua officiating. Interment was at New Plymouth.
