Carol J. Hinson, 93 of New Plymouth passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at The Cottages in Payette. She was born on March 27, 1914 in San Jacinto, California. On September 3, 1935 she married Clifton Hinson and they ran an Angus Ranch in California before moving to New Plymouth in 1983. Clifton passed away in 1990. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in New Plymouth and enjoyed reading, gardening her flowers and anything to do with the color yellow.
She is survived by her two sons, Robert Hinson of Salinas, California, and Monty (Kay) Hinson of Fruitland, seven grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and a sister. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the First Baptist Church in New Plymouth.
A viewing will be held at the Haren-Wood Funeral Chapel in Payette on Thursday, December 6, 2007 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, December 7, 2007 at 11 a.m., at the First Baptist Church in New Plymouth with interment to follow at Parkview Cemetery in New Plymouth.
