Don Hodsdon

Services for Don Hodsdon, 63, New Plymouth, who died of natural causes Sunday, Sept. 11, 1983 at home, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday in Ontario Lienkaemper Chapel, with Chaplain John Baker of the United States Air Force officiating. Interment will follow in Parkview Cemetery, New Plymouth.

He was born Feb. 15, 1920 at Great Falls, Mont. He moved with his family to Rosebud, Alberta Canada, and then he moved to Missoula, Mont. He entered the United States Army Air Corps in 1943, where he served in the South Pacific Theater as a pilot. He was discharged in 1946. He lived in the western portion of the United States where he worked as a truck driver and mechanic. He married Mary Taylor on June 5, 1966 in Winnemucca, Nev. They moved to La Grande then to New Plymouth in 1977 where they have since resided.

Survivors include his wife of New Plymouth; four sons, Greg Hodsdon of Portland; Kleeve Hodsdon of Vancouver, Wash.; Jim Hodsdon of Seattle; Jorge Hodsdon of Los Vegas, Nev.; one daughter, Donna Hodsdon of New Plymouth; two brothers, Tom Hodsdon of Lexington, Ky.; Paul Hodsdon of Las Vegas, Nev.; four sisters, Augusta Musson of Sedro Wooley, Wash.; Grace White of Clarkston, Wash.; Ruth Holloran of Missoula, Mont.; Rosalie Hampson of San Diego, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

Friends may call Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the chapel in Ontario.
