Former Resident Of Fruitland, O. A. Kalm Dies.

Oliver Alvin Kalm, 76, a former resident of Fruitland, died in Culver City, Calif., Friday. He was born in Arcadia, Kan., Nov. 1, 1886 and moved to Idaho 35 years ago. He resided in Emmett for seven years, after which he moved to Fruitland. He was married to Mamie Bell Nickell at Twin Falls June 9, 1929. She died in 1961. In August, 1962, he moved to Culver City. He was a veteran of World War 1.

He is survived by a son, Elmer of Hawaii; two daughters, Mrs. Elsie Lucas of Dallas and Mrs. Daisey Hubbard of Culver City; two brothers, four sisters. He was preceded in death by a brother and a daughter.

Services were held Wednesday at the New Plymouth Shaffer Memory Chapel with Rev. Mable Roton officiating. Interment followed at Park View.
