NEW PLYMOUTH - Services for Ralph J. L. Peterson, 59, of New Plymouth, who died in a Boise hospital Monday, April 28, will be conducted Saturday at 10 a. m. at the Shaffer-Jensen Chapel in New Plymouth.

He was baptized in the First Baptist church in New Plymouth and was a member of the Assembly of God church. Interment will be at the Park View Cemetery.

Mr. Peterson was born May 21, 1921 at New Plymouth to Harry and Lilly Stuve Peterson. He attended New Plymouth Schools and Links business College in Boise. He worked for nine years as deputy assessor of Ada County in the license department. He owned and operated a beverage and grocery store in Garden City for four years when ill health caused his retirement. After a second heart operation in San Francisco Aug. 10, 1967, he opened and operated the Corner Beverage store at 2937 State Street from 1968 to 1969. He was also a produce vendor.

Survivors include a son, Johnny Peterson, Nashua, New Hampshire; two daughters, Mrs. Scott (Kay) Hecht and Mrs. Cindy Sabo, Garden City; three granddaughters and one grandson. Other survivors include his mother, Mrs. Lilly Peterson, New Plymouth; a brother William, Boise; three sisters, Mrs. Kenneth (Adaline) Beutler, Mrs. Philip (Marjorie) Pittman and Mrs. Elmer (Juanita) Lawrence, all of Vancouver, WA, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two daughters, two brothers and his father.

Friends may call at the New Plymouth chapel from 3-9 p.m. Friday.
