NEW PLYMOUTH - Services for C. Alfred Russell, 66, New Plymouth, who died Tuesday at home, were conducted Friday at Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, New Plymouth, by the Rev. William Schillereff, New Plymouth First Baptist Church. Interment was in Park View Cemetery with rites by Washoe Lodge No. 28, AF and AM.

He was born March 3, 1911, at El Dorado Springs, Mo, and moved with his parents to McCune, Kan., then to Idaho, where he was educated. He graduated from Jerome High School. He attended Louis College of Mortuary Science, graduating in 1936. He worked in funeral homes in Twin Falls, Boise and Caldwell. He graduated from Boise Junior College. He married Mildred Sperry October 25, 1941, at Tacoma, Wash. He worked for Boeing Aircraft in Seattle. He moved to Jerome where he farmed. In 1945, he moved to New Plymouth and continued to farm. He was a member of the New Plymouth First Baptist Church, Washoe Lodge No. 28, AF and AM, Payette Chapter No. 8, Royal Arch Masons, King Solomon Council No. 4, Royal and Select Masters, Weiser Commandery No. 7, Knights Templer, El Korah Shrine Temple, Boise, IOOF Lodge, Payette, the Farm Bureau and N. F. O.

Surviving are his wife of New Plymouth; twin sons, Kent and Keith of Bruneau; a daughter, Mrs. Jerry (Dauna) Henggeler of Fruitland; a sister, Mrs. Leota Hull of Jerome, and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, William Russell, in 1975, an infant brother and his parents.

Memorials may be made to the Shriners Crippled Childrens Hospital, or flowers may be sent.
