Ada May Schaeffer, 78, Fruitland, died Feb. 29 in a Payette nursing home. Services were 2 p.m. today at Park View Cemetery, New Plymouth, under the direction of Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Payette.

FRUITLAND - Ada May Schaeffer, 78, Fruitland, Feb. 29, 1992, in a Payette nursing home. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, at Park View Cemetery, New Plymouth, with Pastor Dale Phipps, officiating, under the direction of Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Payette.

She was born Feb. 9, 1914, in Lawrence, Kan. She lived in the Payette, Weiser, Fruitland area most of her adult life. In 1955 she married Otto Schaeffer in Nevada. Together they enjoyed traveling and picnics, and she enjoyed cooking, crocheting and sewing.

Survivors include her husband, Otto Schaeffer of Fruitland; a son and daughter-in-law, Colee and Pat McKenzie of Eagle; a daughter, Barbara Jean McKenzie of Emmett; two sisters, Florence Kinneman of McMinnville, and Thelma Dodge of Freeland, Mich., and four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
