Walter Shelley Dies Tuesday at Age 49
Walter Virgil Shelley, 49, of Fruitland, died Monday at Ontario. He was born at Clay Center, Kansas, Oct. 4, 1914 and came from Ottowa, Kansas to the Fruitland community in May of 1963.
He married Hazel Cox in Winnemucca, Nevada on Sept. 25, 1962.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Hazel Shelley of Fruitland; one sister, Mrs. Katherine Smith of Clay Center and one brother, William Shelley of Compton, Calif.
Services will be arranged by Shaffer Memory Chapel.
