Last Rites Held For Reuben F. Slone, 85

Services were conducted Monday for Reuben Felix Slone, 85, of Payette, who died late Thursday at the home of a son, Harry Slone.

Mr. Slone was born Dec. 29, 1875 at Indianola, Iowa, and was married to Pearl Bartling, April 19, 1902 at Albion, Neb. They came from Loretta, Nebr. to the New Plymouth community 56 years ago, in 1905. They also lived at Meridian for about 12 years.

He was a member of the First Baptist church of New Plymouth.

Survivors include three sons, Harry Slone, Payette, Robert Slone of Meridian and Jack Slone, Burns, Oregon; four daughters, Genevieve Smith, Fruitland; Mrs. Hallie Hull, Payette, Mrs. Maxine Sebern, Jerome, and Mrs. Joan rose, North Plains, Oregon; four sisters, Mrs. Jennie Anderson and Mrs. Anice Collinsworth, New Plymouth and Mrs. Eunice (unreadable) and Mrs. Alice Brown, both of Boise; 16 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Services were conducted Monday at 2 p. m. at the New Plymouth Shaffer Chapel with the Rev. Robert Cooper officiating. Interment was at Park View.
