Graveside services for William "Bill" Smith, 77-year-old resident of New Plymouth, who died Friday July 29, 1983 in a Boise hospital were conducted Monday in the Parkview Cemetery, New Plymouth, with the Rev. Earl Praughber of the New Plymouth Congregational Church officiating, under the direction of Shaffer-Jensen Chapel, New Plymouth.
He was born Jan. 10, 1906 in New Plymouth, the son of James and Hanna Smith. He was reared and educated in New Plymouth. He served in World War ll in the armed forces medical corps and served in France and Germany.
He is survived by two brothers, Ernest of New Plymouth and Charlie of Boise.
