Evelyn Snook, the 12 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Snook died at her home near this city Monday evening, after a long illness. Miss Evelyn had been ill with pneumonia for several weeks, and the forepart of last week it was necessary to perform an operation, the effects of which, owing to her weakened condition from pneumonia, she did not recover from. A private funeral was held at the house Wednesday afternoon, only a few friends being present. Rev. Knight conducted the funeral services, and the body was laid to rest in Park View cemetery.
