FRUITLAND - Services for Harvey Warren Spangler, 76, Fruitland, who died Wednesday at an Ontario hospital, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in New Plymouth. Interment will be in Park View Cemetery, New Plymouth.
He was born July 22, 1899, in Champion, Neb. He grew up in Nebraska and married Wilma Hooker, Nov. 7, 1938, in Fort Morgan, Colo. He came to Fruitland in 1951 and he farmed until retiring in 1971.
He was a member of the LDS Church.
Surviving are his wife, Fruitland; four sons, Warren, Salem, Ore, Emery, Nampa, Kenneth and Richard, both Fruitland; two daughters, Mrs. Reva Cafaro, Chicago and Mrs. Joan Beeman, Riggins; a sister, Mrs. Mary Lovelace, Nyssa and 16 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter.
Friends may call at the Fruitland Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday and until noon Tuesday and at the church from noon to 2 p.m.
