FRUITLAND - Services for Gladys I. Thomasson, 68, Gooding, Idaho, formerly of Fruitland, who died Wednesday, May 4, 1983 at Gooding, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, May 6 at the First Southern Baptist Church, Fruitland with Pastor Travis L. McKinney officiating. Interment will follow in Parkview Cemetery, New Plymouth, under the direction of the Shaffer-Jensen Chapel, Fruitland.

She was born Jan. 25, 1915, in Calsbad, N.M. She was reared and educated in New Mexico and Arizona. She married Jesse Thomasson Nov. 14, 1933 in Flagstaff, Ariz. They moved to Wickiup, Ariz. where they farmed. They moved to Medford, Ore. in 1947 and to Fruitland in 1967. He died in 1980. She was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church, Fruitland.

She is survived by three sons, Melvin of Lynwood, Wash., William of Burns, Ore., and Jesse of Medford, Ore.; two daughters, Lou Ann Stiver of Simi Valley, Calif. and Virginia Dains of Gooding; one brother, F. Harrell of Milwaukee, Ore.; 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Shaffer-Jensen Chapel, Fruitland.

The family suggests memorials to the First Southern Baptist church, Fruitland.
