Services Conducted For M. Vandenberg
Nick M. Vandenberg, 67, long time resident of New Plymouth passed away at Ontario Monday. Services were held Wednesday afternoon in the First Baptist church in New Plymouth. Interment was at Park View under the direction of Shaffer Memory Chapel.
Mr. Vandenberg was born in Abilene, Kan., May 5, 1889, and was married to Mabel Mathews at Salina, Kan. They moved to New Plymouth from Salina 38 years ago.
Survivors include his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Walter Gerlach of New Plymouth; one son, Kenneth Vandenberg of Sutherlin, Ore.; a brother, William Vandenberg, Denver, Colo.; and three grandchildren.
