Brent Watkins Dies In Boise Sunday
Brent Watkins, 73, former Fruitland resident, passed away in a Boise hospital Sunday, February 24. He was born in London, Kentucky, January 19, 1879, and first came to Idaho 42 years ago when he moved to the Midvale area. Seven years ago Mr. Watkins moved his family to Fruitland where he lived until a few months ago when he went to Boise to live with his daughter. His wife preceded him in passing about two years ago.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. C. E. Roberts, Morland, Wyo., Mrs. Gary Edson and Mrs. Gus Oberg, both of Boise; two sons, Cornall L. Watkins, of Klamath Falls, Oregon, and Clair Watkins of Emmett; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild; five brothers and two sisters. Services were held Wednesday at 2:00 P. M. at the Shaffer Memory Chapel with Rev. Stanley Andrews officiating. Interment was in Park View at New Plymouth.
