FRUITLAND - Orton Kenneth Winn, 68, of Fruitland, died Friday in an Ontario hospital. Services were conducted Wednesday at Shaffer-Jensen chapel at Fruitland by Rev. Steven A. Wilson of the Fruitland Free Methodist Church. Interment followed in Parkview Cemetery in New Plymouth.

He was born Sept. 7, 1911 at Wallowa. He moved to Prairie City at a young age and later to Adrian. He married Mary E. Ramsey May 1, 1948, at Caldwell. They moved to John Day, then to Adrian, and then to Fruitland in 1969. He worked for Ore-Ida Foods until retiring in 1975.

He is survived by his wife of Fruitland; two sons, Don of Fruitland and Ken of San Diego, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Arlie (June) Main of Fruitland; three sisters, Ina Richart of The Dalles, Mrs. Ed (Ruth) Campbell of Payette and Anna Coulter of Notus; and three grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a son.
