GRACE M. ABBOTT
PAYETTE - Services for Grace M. Abbott, 88, Payette, who died Saturday in a Payette nursing home, were conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Shaffer-Jensen Chapel, Payette. Private interment was in Riverside Cemetery, Payette.
She was born July 12, 1888, in Mapleton, N. D. and in 1902 moved with her parents to Payette, where she was educated. She married Edward Abbott, Jan. 29, 1912 in Caldwell.
She worked for the Payette County Assessor’s office for 40 years, retiring at the age of 80.
Mrs. Abbott was a member of the Payette Christian Church.
Surviving are a son, Jack, Escondido, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Lela Jenkins, Payette, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
