H. C. Anderson, 40-Yr. Resident Of Area, Dies
Henry Clayton Anderson, 81, a resident of the Payette area for 40 years, died Saturday night at Holy Rosary hospital in Ontario.
Mr. Anderson was born Dec. 1, 1881 at Hillsboro, Ohio and came to Fruitland in 1923, moving to Payette in 1955. He was married to Ida Tussing July 17, 1901. She preceded him in death in 1955. He was married to Ella Abercrombie in 1957. She died in 1959. Mr. Anderson was a member of the Gospel Light House in Payette.
Surviving are four sons, Clayton Anderson of Blackfoot, Earl Anderson of Payette, Wayne Anderson of Sparks, Nevada and Cecil Anderson of Newberg, Ore.; three daughters, Mrs. Mable Blotter of Alhambra, Calif., Mrs. Florence Royston and Mrs. Nina Ralston, both of Fruitland; two brothers, Harry G. Anderson, Tillamook, Ore., and Roy Anderson of Klamath Falls, Ore.; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services were held today (Thursday) at Shaffer Memory Chapel with Rev. Paul Yadon officiating. Interment followed at Riverside.
