Services Held For Adelbert Baker, 94
Services were held Monday for Adelbert Baker, 94, who died Friday in a nursing home in Nampa.
Mr. Baker was born in New York, June 8, 1865. He was married to Laura Lenker in Chicago in 1899 and moved to a farm in Whitney Bottom in 1916. Mrs. Baker died in 1920 and he was married to Isabel Walker in 1927 who also preceded him in death.
After retirement from farming a few years ago Mr. Baker moved to the Nursing Home in Nampa.
Survivors include two sons, Delbert Baker of Weiser and Carl Baker of Parma; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services were held at the Fruitland Methodist church with the Rev. Raymond Thompson officiating. Interment was in the Riverside Cemetery with the Shepard Chapel in Nampa arranging services.
