PAYETTE - Oscar Barrows, 91, Payette, died Sunday at a Payette nursing home. Services are pending at the Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel in Payette.

PAYETTE - Services for Oscar Barrows, 91, Payette who died Sunday at a Payette nursing home will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel in Payette by the Rev. Jack Anderson of the First Baptist Church. Interment will be at Riverside.
He was born Nov. 13, 1879 in Boston where he grew up and attended school. He married Adelaide Fisher in 1905 in Massachusetts. They made their home at Westboro, Mass. where he worked as a machinist. Mrs. Barrows died in 1939.
He came to Payette in 1950 where he had since resided.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Westboro.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Virgil (Irene) Hunt, Payette; Mrs. Myrtle Mercurio, Brockton, Mass.; and Mrs. Ethel Beuregard, Westboro; a son, LeRoy Barrows, Seattle; 13 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by two sons and a daughter.
