Mrs. Ada Bertleson

Services for Mrs. Ada Della Bertleson, 84, of Payette, who died Tuesday at a Payette nursing home, were conducted 2 p.m. Friday at the Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Pastor Harry E. Darby, of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, officiating. Interment was at Riverside Cemetery.

Mrs. Bertelson was born Jan. 1, 1886 at Tuba City, Ariz. She came to the Payette Valley in 1900 and was married to Bert Chris Bertleson on Feb. 14, 1901, at Caldwell. They farmed and were in the sheep business west of Emmett. Later they moved to a farm south of Payette, where she had since resided. Mr. Bertleson died in 1950. She is a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Lloyd Bertleson of Payette, Warren Bertleson of Twin Falls; two daughters, Mrs. Rena Heimerl of Mosier, Wash., and Mrs. Della Hyder of Hawthorne, Nev.; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a son and a daughter.
