Mrs. Clara Bigelow Funeral Held today

Funeral services were held at 2 o’clock this afternoon for Mrs. Clara May Bigelow who died Tuesday morning at the Payette General hospital following a short illness. Services were held at the Landon funeral home with Rev. E.R. Kaemmer officiating. Burial was at the Riverside cemetery.

Mrs. Bigelow was born Clara May Medler, daughter of Martha and Edgar Medler in western Nebraska, February 12, 1874. She joined the United Brethren church in Ohiowa, Neb., while a girl and married Willard F. Bigelow in Ohio, December 28, 1898. Five children were born to this union, one of whom did in 1919. The Bigelows have been residents of Payette since June 6, 1917. Mrs. Bigelow is survied (sic) by her husband, and two daughters and two sons: Mrs. Earl Patton and Mrs. Harry Asmussen, both of Payette, Dwight E. Bigelow of Seattle and Russell M. Bigelow of Elizabeth, N.J. There are also six grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Oscar Toothman of Natrona, Wyo., and three brothers, Warren Medler of Kimble, Neb., Dr. C.A. Medler of Verdon, Neb., and Dr. E.M. Medler of Mt. McGregor, N.Y.
