Last Rites Held For Emily Lillian Bire
Final services were held Monday for Emily Lillian Bire, 40, of Payette who died in a Payette nursing home Friday after a long illness.
She was born in 1918 at Larkingburg, Kan. and came to Payette in 1938.
Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Bower of Payette and a sister, Mrs. Bernice Calkins of Mason City, Iowa.
The services were held at 3:30 p.m. at the Shaffer chapel. Graveside services were conducted at Riverside with the Rev. Harold Jacks officiating.
