Anna S. Blanchard Rites Conducted
Services were held Wednesday for Mrs. Anna Sophia Blanchard, 87, of Payette, who died Sunday at a local nursing home following a long illness.
She was born April 10, 1871, at Varmland, Sweden, and came to the United States when she was 16.
She moved to Payette in1919. Her husband Arthur W. Blanchard died in 1936.
Mrs. Blanchard was a member of the Rebekah lodge.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Emily Castor of Los Angeles, Calif.; one granddaughter and four great grandchildren.
The services were held at 10 a.m. at the Shaffer chapel. Interment was at Riverside.
