Mrs. August Bosch

Rev. A. Beutenmueller preached the sermon for the funeral of Mrs. Augusta Pauline Bosch from the St. John’s Evangelical church in Payette Monday afternoon at two o’clock and interment (sic) was in the Riverside cemetery. The Landon funeral home had charge of the funeral.

Augusta Pauline Mach was born in Germany on March 10, 1864. In 1891 she was married to John Bosch at Wheaton, Minnesota. To this union were born ten children: William Bosch of Longview, Washington, August Bosch of Placerville, California; John Bosch of the Smith’s Flats, California; Albert Bosch of Emmett, Idaho; Ahna Oster and Lillie Heidelberger of Payette; Catherine Armstrong of Portland, Oregon; Emma Stirm of Fruitland and Minnie George of Payette. Frieda Bosch died in infancy. Twenty-four grandchildren and many old friends and neighbors remain to mourn her passing. Mrs. Bosch was one of the twenty-eight charter members of St. John’s Evangelical church of Payette.
