Services for Earl T. Brown, 63, Ontario, who died October 5, 1982 at his home were conducted Saturday at Lienkaemper Chapel in Ontario. BPO Elks 1690, Ontario, conducted the services. Interment followed at Riverside Cemetery in Payette under direction of Ontario Lienkaemper Chapel.

He was born December 27, 1918 in Durham, Calif. He attended schools in Chico and Paradise, Calif. He moved to Alaska in 1939. He served in the Army from 1941 to 1945 returning to Alaska where he worked as a bush pilot. He married Francis Jacks, June 21, 1953 in Anchorage, Alaska. They moved to Ontario in 1965. He worked in construction throughout Alaska including the North Slope and Aleutian Islands. He retired in July, 1981. He was a charter member of BPO Elks 1842 in Palmer, Alaska and a member of the Operating Engineers No. 302 in Seattle, Wash.

He is survived by his wife of Ontario; two sons, David E. Brown and James O. Brown both of Boise; one daughter, Mary Ford of New Plymouth; two brothers, Claude L. Brown of Fresno, Calif.; and Ernest H. Brown, Oroville, Calif.; one sister, Leona Britt, of Redmond, Wash. and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
