Services Held For Emet H. Brubaker, 79

Services were held this morning for Emet Hill Brubaker, 79, a long time resident of this area, who died in a local nursing home Monday following a long illness.

Mr. Brubaker was born March 1, 1881 at Dixon, Ill., and came to the Payette area in 1905 from Oerenci, Ariz. He was married to Myrtle Fulton June 14, 1903 at Lordsburg, N. M. He was a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ in Payette.

Survivors in addition to his wife include three daughters, Mrs. Hazel Collier of Sandy, Ore., Mrs. Fern Bolt of Emmett and Mrs. Iris Mordhorst of Payette; three brothers, J. L. Brubaker of Marysville, Kan., H. E. Brubaker of El Paso, Texas and Scott Brubaker of Payette; one sister, Mrs. Lulu E. Sommerville, Baker, Ore., and five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Services were held at 10 a.m. at the Shaffer Chapel in Payette with the Reverend Henry Warber officiating. Interment was at Riverside.
