PAYETTE - Services for Lloyd James (Fox) Brundage, 78, of Payette, who died Thursday at his home of natural causes, were conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Payette Chapel of the Roses by the Rev. Gale O’Neil of the Baptist Church. Interment followed at Riverside Cemetery in Payette.
He was born Aug. 11, 1895, in Crane Creek. He was a retired farmer and had lived in the Payette community for 38 years and in the area all of his life. He married Mildred McMurren, Jan. 18, 1923, in Portland. Brundage Mountain near McCall was named after his father, W. Scott Brundage.
He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 2738, World War 1 Barracks No. 33. He belonged to Old Company 1, Second Idaho.
Survivors include his wife at home; a son, Richard Brundage of Payette; a brother, Howard K. Brundage, Ontario; a sister, Mrs. May Neill, Blackfoot; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
A daughter, a son and a grandson preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the Chapel until service time Monday.
