S. Ernest Cawthra
PAYETTE - Services for Seth Ernest Cawthra, 77, Payette, who died Friday in a Caldwell hospital, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday in the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Payette, by Elders Ed Brown and William K. Mansker, under the direction of Shaffer-Jensen Chapel, Payette. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Payette.
He was born March 12, 1905, in Seymour, MO. He lived for many years in Colorado and Wyoming. He married Alma M. Riehemann on July 1, 1952, in Richmond, VA. They moved to Payette in 1977. He was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Payette.
He leaves his wife, of Payette; a son, Seth Everett of Seattle; two daughters, Mary Datrick of Fayetteville, Ark. and Delpha Gable of Oklahoma City; a stepson, Samuel Cawthra of Vancouver, Wash.; three step-daughters, Louise Ross of Elburn, Ill. and Gladis Unrue and Dorothy Bewick, both of Payette; three brothers, Walter of Ozark, Mo, Robert of Needles, Calif. and Glenn of Sparta, Mo; a sister, Mrs. Fred (Edna) Ebel of Springfield, MO; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at Shaffer-Jensen Chapel from 3 to 9 p.m. today.
Memorials may be made to the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Payette.
