Earl Christian, Resident Since ’02 Passes at Age 78
Earl Warren Christian, 78, of Payette, died Tuesday at his home here. He was born at Lawrence, Kan., Sept. 2, 1884 and moved to Payette in 1902. He was married to Anna Bardwell at Payette in 1905. He was a feed and grain dealer for many years. Mr. Christian was a member of the Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of Payette; two sons, James of Payette and Eugene of Los Angeles; three daughters, Mrs. Wynema Griffin of Crescent City, Calif., Mrs. Muriel Hubbell of Ontario, Mrs. Eileen Schwass of Payette and seven grandchildren.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Shaffer Memory Chapel with Rev. William Clark officiating. Interment will be at Riverside.
