Rites Set Friday For Bernice Clough
OREGON SLOPE - Services will be held Friday for Mrs. Bernice Mabel Clough, 66, of the Oregon Slope community who died in an Ontario nursing home Tuesday after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Clough was born at Princeton, Neb., Sept. 1, 1895, and was married to Mason D. Clough at Lincoln, Neb., Dec. 4, 1917. They moved here in 1920 from Cortland, Neb. Mrs. Clough had been the secretary of the Park Union Sunday school for the past 40 years.
Survivors include her husband of the Oregon Slope; one brother, George Culp of Vale; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. at the Shaffer Chapel with the Rev. Medford Roland officiating. Interment will be at Riverside.
