Services Held For Edward C. Coblentz

Services were conducted Monday for Edward C. Coblentz, 56, of Payette, who died last Thursday in an Ontario hospital.

Mr. Coblentz was born Feb. 2, 1904, at Flora, Ore., and came to the Payette community in 1909. He had lived here since that time. He was married to Hazel Brown at Emmett in 1937. Mr. Coblentz was a member of the Methodist church and the Masonic lodge. He was a long time employee of the Payette postoffice.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Wayne of Milwaukee, Ore., and Mike of Payette; two daughters, Mrs. Eldon Pearson of Tacoma, Wash., and Kathy of Payette; one brother, Lee Coblentz of Portland; three sisters, Miss Beatrice Coblentz, Portland; Mrs. J. J. Davis, Baker, and Mrs. Fred A. Wilson, Nampa; and one granddaughter.

Services were conducted Monday morning at 10 a.m.at the Shaffer chapel in Payette with the Rev. Leonard Clark officiating. Interment was at Riverside with the Washoe Masonic lodge in charge.
