Hattie Esther Wasson was born May 16, 1900 at Des Moines, Iowa, coming to Payette when she was about two years old. She attended school here and graduated from Payette high school in 1919. She then completed a course in Boise Business college.
She was united in marriage, June 8, 1924 to Lee W. Coblentz. To this union, a daughter, Patricia Ann was born.
She was a member of the Methodist church. She also belonged to the Harmony Rebekah lodge and the American Legion auxillary.
Her mother and father preceded her in death.
Surviving her are her husband, a daughter, Patricia Ann and two sisters, Mrs. Marie Rhoads of Scotio, New York and Mrs. Florence Schreiber of Gooding, Idaho.
Esther died March 17, 1939. The Landon Funeral home was in charge of the services.
