MRS. COEN PASSES AWAY
Cara Bell Coen, aged 64, passed away in Freewater, Oregon on Sept. 20. She has been a long time resident of this area, having come to the Payette country in 1907.
She was born in Iowa on Dec. 23, 1884, and moved to Owyhee county two years ago. She was a member of the Baptist church for many years.
Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Rachel Ellen Wilson, of Boise; two daughters, Mrs. Violet Owings of Freewater, and Mrs. Iva Carbit of Emmett; two brothers; six sisters, and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:30 p.m. at the Shaffer Memory chapel with the Rev. Paul Felthouse officiating. Interment will be at Riverside cemetery.
