Mrs. Susan Francis Coffey of Payette, who has been making her home with her daughter, Mrs. Pete Schoorl of Ontario, passed away April 8, 1941 at the age of 77.
She was born in Jefferson county, Missouri, October 7, 1862 and was married to Isaac M. Coffey at Climax, Missouri on June 10, 1880. They came with their family to Payette 47 years ago. Mr. Coffey preceded her in death January 20, 1919.
She is survived by one son, Glen Coffey of Payette, and four daughters, Mrs. Sarah Ayers, Elk City, Idaho, Mrs. Ella Harris, Salem, Oregon, Mrs. Pete Schoorl, Ontario, Oregon, and Mrs. Edna Patzack, Los Angeles, California. She also leaves 22 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, and a brother, William Brooks of Payette.
Funeral services will be held at the Payette Pentacostal church with the Rev. John S. Curtis officiating. Interment will be at the Riverside cemetery, Friday, April 11, at 2:30 p.m. The body is at the Landon Funeral home.
